Legal and Compliance Specialist

We’re looking for a Legal and Compliance Specialist to join the Operations team and cooperate with our external legal agency in preparing and reviewing business and legal documents, keeping track of newest and current legal regulation, and helping us keep an eye on our internal compliance to ensure that we’re always ready to respond to industry updates.  

What Will You Do?

  • Review legal documents that we receive from our business partners and prepare for our clients (such as NDAs,contracts, and purchase orders) as well as our internal regulations.
  • Keep evidence of legal contracts and documents, including their revisions.
  • Review various tools that we consider for implementation.
  • Monitor legislation changes to help us remain compliant.
  • Cooperate with the executive team on the coordination of various processes to ensure overall compliance (in terms of GDPR, local law, etc.) and provide support during audits.
  • Participate in our ISO 27001 compliance processes and policy preparation (e.g. risk management system).
  • Help us with internal education about GDPR, health and safety instructions, and risk management.
  • Monitor and internally communicate current regulations, such as sanctions, temporary regulations, and so on.
  • Cooperate with our external legal agency on a selection of the aforementioned tasks.

  • Work well in a team.
  • Have a Czech law university degree.
  • Have at least 3 years’ experience as an in-house lawyer in an IT company (or similar environment) or,alternatively, experience as an attorney in a relevant attorney's office with knowledge of business law as well as civil, labor, and intellectual property law.
  • Can solve complex issues using logical and systematic thinking.
  • Have an eye for detail, responsibility, and self-reliance.
  • Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to simply and clearly convey legal information.
  • Can prioritize tasks and reliably meet deadlines.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Czech and English language.
  • Have experience with working in a small company / a start-up.
