We have partnered with Órama, a leading technology investment platform in Brazil, to provide secure and user-friendly authentication to Órama’s clients and customers. At the same time, we are excited to share our first collaboration in Latin America.
Órama is an online securities and securities distributor founded in 2011. It was the first company in Brazil to provide technology related to investment funds from independent asset managers with an initial investment below the market value.
Thanks to this partnership with Wultra, Órama has been able to elevate its user experience, achieve regulatory compliance, and fortify the security of its platform.
How Brazil Is Blazing New Trails for Fintech
Brazil is a rapidly growing market for digital financial services. According to research by the World Economic Forum (WEF), Brazilians are at the forefront of digital payment adoption.
Throughout the past few years, the Brazilian government has been implementing legislation to help boost the country’s national cyber-security. An important part of this initiative is Brazil’s open banking scheme, which was first approved in 2019 and officially implemented on August 13, 2021.
Examining the Cyber-Security Landscape in Brazil
The country’s readiness to take on digital payment solutions can be seen as a response to Brazil’s high levels of cybercrime.
In 2023, Brazil’s large, diverse population remains a target of an array of digital attacks. Many organizations continue to face the challenge of meeting compliance standards while also ensuring the security of their platforms.
These companies need a solution delivering secure authentication for their clients while also providing a smooth user experience. Furthermore, modern companies expect security solutions that can be customized and integrate seamlessly with their existing platform.
Wultra’s Solution Lends a Helping Hand
Órama partnered with Wultra to implement Wultra's authentication solution into the Órama platform, providing a secure method for login and payment approval.
The Órama platform is currently being used by 50,000 customers — a number that the company aims to double by the end of 2023.
Thanks to the support provided by Wultra, we were able to quickly implement the solution as well as resolve any hiccups during its implementation. What’s more, we delivered a seamless user experience to our customers while improving authentication flows in our mobile app. It can be difficult to find security-focused developers, and Wultra served as an extension of our development team by providing security knowledge.
